Quarantine Raised. All
Danger Passed, "
Thank to tho prompt action taken
by our city authorities to prevent the
unread of tinall pox no more case have
developed mid all fear of an epidemic
hove passed. The quarantine of the
building in which the disease first ap
peared wa raiaed Tuesday and the in
males were given their freedom. Our
people adopted the only right course
when the disease first appeared which
wa to take rigorous measures to stamp
it out and to call It by Its right name as
a matter of precaution to the people of
the surrounding country. The result
has been most gratifying. So far a we
know no other town in the state that
ha been visited by the small pox has
been so fortunate in getting rid of it.
The (Junta waa honest with Its readers
when the disease first appeared in not
trying to cover it up and it is now as
honest in announcing that the town is
free from It and that no fear need be
felt by people in the surrounding coun
try in coming to town when they have
occasion to do so. .
