Trail Fork, each delivered a bunch of
cattle here on Tuesday.
It is announced that anentertsrnmenl
will be given by members and friends
of the Congregational congregation, in
about two weeks, the proceeds of which
will be used to procure new honks for
the church. Date and particulars will
be given nett week.
The May Day dance given Monday
Bight was a success in every way and
one of the pleaoanteat events of the sea
son. A good sized crowd was present
and every body enjuved themselves In
the Utmost. Excellent suppers were
served at the hotel at midnight t
which all did ample jnstice.
Mr. Reynolds, the Nebraska cattle
buver received ahont 400 head of cattle
here on Tuesday and started yosterdav
morning to drive them to A'linefon
where he will recieve ahont 20K) head
more this week. He will ship t.,Oma

once. Mr. Reynolds ha bnniihr, alt

R. M. Johnson came over from Lone
Roc' Tuesday. He reports a serion
accident which befell George Crawford

Messers Falconer, Dwinnel & M'.flVl.
cattlemen from Montana, have bought
about 1000 head of cattle in this and
adjoining counties this spring. Thev
will recieve about 400 head here tomor
row and drive to Arlington where the
other 600 head will he delivered. The
cattle will be shipped to Montana where
tbey will be put on the range and bel l
for market next fair.
