V. C. Brown went over to Heppner
last week. While on the way he was at
tacked with a pain and expressed his
fears that it was appendicitis. When
be arrived iu town Dr. Swinburne con
firmed his feats by telling Billy he was
a victim of that dreaded disease. It
was quite fortunate that Billy happen
ed in Heppner where he can get the
best medical aid.
' 8unday evening James Vlckers, who
lives four miles south of town, was se
verely injured by a horse. He was
alone at the time, his folks having gone
to town. The old gentleman does not
seem to know just how it happened, but
from appearances he fell while passiug
near the horse's heels and the animal
must have kicked him several times, as
he is considerably bruised up.
