THE COUDOH GLOBE.
FRIDAY, MAY 13, 892,
'HE, OFFICIAL PAPER OF GILLIAM
COUNTY, OREQON.
A POPULAR JUDGE.
Hon. W. L, Bradshaw, for circuit
Judge, is the right pi an in the right
place, and he will stay there, too, tor ha
cannot be beaten. He Is the most ac
tive judge who has ever held court in
(his county, disposing of business both
rapidly and satisfactorily. The people
pf this district know when they have a
good thing; and knowing it, there is no
danger of them throwing it away,
Judge Bradshaw is the ablest judge that
ever ent on this circuit. He ia honest,
he is fair, he is impartial, he is expedi
tious ; he gives everybody a show ; he
rushes the work and thus saves many a
dollar to the taxpayers. All the lawyers
likeliim; the litigant? all like him
What more is there to say ? We repeat.
he will be elected. Prineville News.
The Moro Observer says : "The busi
ness of the court generally was disposed
pf with that promptness and dispatch
which are characteristic of Bradshaw in
bis judicial capacity. The judge will
not tolerate unnecessary delay on the
part of those in attendance on the court,
yet he does not act with undue haste in
any matter. All he aims at is to pre
vent needless expense upon the taxpay
ers. For this as well as for bis genial
disposition and the fair and impartial
manner in which he discharges his offi
cial duties, he has earned the esteem
and good will of the citizens and mem
bers of the legal profession throughput
the 7th judicial district."
Heppner Gazette : Hon. W. J. Brad
shaw of The Dalles has ably presided as
circuit judge for the past year in this
district, and has ever been courteous,
accommodating and affable in all his
legal transactions with the people and
niembers of his profession.

Monday Jas. Bennett sold his town
residence to Cbas. Mote, consideration

time being the charm" can he relied
upon, we will have in Mr. Mote a per
manent resident hereafter, this being
the third time he has returned to this
place. There is no place like home
especially when the surroundings are so
delightful as they are in this city.
Rev. Wise failed to connect Saturday
evening, as announced, and also billed
by our P. M. by flaming posters. Every
body here wants to know why he didn't
come. And that is just what we don't
know. (Mr. Wise requests the editor to
State that his inability to go to Lone

rough, stormy weather, which he regrets
