Beaverton Beaverton't second team came into its own last Thursday nignt and defeated the J. B. A. C. of Portland by a score of 6 to 3. The first Basket was made by Allhan3 Mio played a star game for Beaverton. Davis the regular Center was sick and out of the game and a substitute was played .in his place, but with this handi cap the J, B. A. C. dldnt have anything on them making only one field goal and one free throw; The first team wh- were deef teated by the same organization ivere players picked from various teams and who had never played together before; the score was 36 to 6. St. Johns . High School will play the locals at this place next Sat. night a good fast game will tertainly be played for St. Johns won a game from Beaverton last year by one basket. , ' Leon Davis entertained the Lawn Tennis Club at his home last Friday night Novl 22nd. , The members all met at the Post Office and were taken out by Mr. Davis on a big hay-rack.
