He was tall and kinder slender.
And his face was sort o lean
He had just come fr in ths country
And he was a-looking green.
He went in to get his dinner.
And he sat down in a chair.
Then he waited f o a waiter,
To come with tne bill at tare.
No one seemed to nay attention.
And some could not help but smile
r or the place where lie was sitting
Twas the cafeteria -tyle.
Someone tapped him on the shoulder,
And they then showed him the way
Where to get his tools for eating.
Also were to get a tray.
Everything looked so invftmg
To his un -accustomed eye.
That he helped himself quite freely
To the eats as he passed by.
At the end he ordered coffee
And they passed along a wink
Because his tray was so crowded
There was no space for his drink.
And when he ate all he wanted
On his tray there seemed to be
Enough victuals left unbeaten
For the likes of you and me.
