School Notes.
. The following is quoted from
a letter sent by County Superin
tendent Frost to every school
board in Washington County,
i ?Do not hire any teacher who
is not a loyal, patriotic Amer
ican actually helping in Uncle
Sam's War Work. No teacher
tan teach conservation, Red
Cross, Thrift and War Savings
and honor to the flag who does
not practice these things. No
neutral teacher will be tolerated
m Washington County next
year. You should mention this
when talking about hiring.
Even if you know that the
teacher is all right the fact that
you demand a pledge of that
kind will put life into her work.
j ' " a
sti will know that you are
right back of her."

Your Teeth
. f Are your best friends, for in
tiieir work lies the guard which
Nature has placed against indi
gestion. If they do their work
well, good digestion is practically
assured. Decayed teeth cannot
do good work, but a clean tooth
never decays.
Because of our modern meth
ods of eating and living, a simple
brushing will not clean the teeth
of fte frit's and sediments that
"olle-i on them. You must have
a pood dentifrice. Here are
three of the best :
COLGATES DENTAL CREAM
REX ALL TOOTH PASTE
LILLY DENTAL PASTE
We can recommend any of the
three. ,
If you want clean teeth and
of course you do you cannot
do better than to supply your
needs here. At this season, when
the blood is just beginning to
thin for the summer months, the
acids and particles of food are
exceptionally liable to start de
cay in the teeth. Now is an im
portant time to keep them clean
with a reliable dentifrice.
