Many young ladies throughout this country are giving of their
services freely to the war work of America; Oregon is no excep
tion and throughout this state hundreds of devoted young women
are giving freely of their time to make lighter the suffering which
war brings to fighting men and waiting women. ' - ' "

of all subscription money secured by these young ladies to the
