Last 'Wednesday evening the
Parent-Teachers met in the Hijfe
School auditorium. The prog
ram was unusually good, though

for the same. It was decided to
give a series of entertainments
in the auditorium and the result
ing funds are to be applied to
the cost of 'material and erection.
The first of this series is plan
ned for the 26th -of this month,
and will consist of 'both school

were married Monday, January
1, 1S17. They were both well
known young .people, Mr. Fogel
having clerked ia stores here
several years and Miss Carlson
was formerly connected with the

comfortably settled in rooms over
Speer's store. They certainly
