High School Notes Editorial (Marjorie Douglas) "Kitty, kitty, kitty. Come here." Over walked the little yellow kitten with a big smile on its face and pur ring loudly. The owner of the voice, when the kitten reached him, started abusing it. He tried to frighten the kitten by yelling, jumping and throw ing little sticks at it. The kitten came back each time with the same smile and purr, but it took a great deal of courage. The person, who, after being bombarded by slurring re marks and comebacks can still wear a smile is "big" He is thought of much more highly than the person who is doing the bombarding. It is terribly hard sometimes to have things said about what you do. We all like to laugh at other people's mistakes, but some cannot stand to see their's criticized. Learn to take things as they come and smile. ' Music The Glee Club and band appeared in the Christmas program Tuesday night at the high school auditorium. Their numbers were as follows: Glee Club "Oh Little Town of Bethle hem," "We Three Kings of Orient Are," and "Grandfather's Clock." Band "Silent Night," and "Lightly Row."
