Value of School Notes
(Myrtle Campbell)
What is the value of school notes
or a school paper? The use of these
aid in creating school spirit because it
stands for the loyalty and effort that
is put into it
A school paper or school notes is
of value to the students because they
give the class meetings, clubs, an
nouncements and other things of cur
rent interest about the school to the
public. Besides letting the public
know what the school is doing, they
give the students an opportunity to do
some practical work in newswriting.

ning at 7:30. The meeting was call

John Reynolds, Trapper
J. R. Reynolds, local grocer, en
gages in trapping as a side line and
turns his store over to an assistant
while making the rounds, reports the
Weston Leader. He ha3 eleven skunk
pelts and the hides of two coyotes to
show for a brief period of activity in
an occupation which he much enjoys.
The trap line extends down Pine
creek as far as the old White place,
and it requires a jaunt of twenty
miles for Reynolds to look it over.
This isn't much more to him than it
would be to a motorist, as he Is a
veteran walker, having tramped for
years while hunting, trapping or fish-
ing. Reynolds is all ready for mink
and muskrat when the season opens
for trapping these little fur bearers,
and expects quite a profitable winter.

drive. They plan to send out 1000

An envelope, stamped and addressed
will also be included and the letter
will explain that any part or all of
the seals may be taken or they may
all be returned. The sale opened
