The rooms were attractively decorat ed with tulips and sweet peas. Games and music were enjoyed af ter which a mock wedding was staged. Those participating in the ceremony were, Miss Charlotte Gross bride; Miss Edna DeFreece, groom; Miss Juanita Woodruff, minister; Miss Dorothy Geissel, bridesmaid; Miss Ethel Geissel, father; and little Bobby Stacklie, ring bearer. Mis3 Genevieve Rogers played the wed ding march and Miss Kathryn Mc Intyre sang, "I love you truly." This procedure furnished plenty of laughs for the guests at the wedding, as it was not without many laughable in cidents; The gown worn, by Miss Gross was the wedding gown of the brides mother, and was 20 years old. The gown of the bridesmaid was the wedding dress of Mrs. Gertie Wood and was 18 years old. Other games, music and fun was enjoyed for a while and prizes given to winners of the games played. The guests then repaired to the dining room where at beautifully appointed tables, with pink sweet peas centering each, de licious refreshments were served by Mrs. Geissel and Mrs. Myrick, assist ed by Mrs. Miller. Miss Gross was the recipient of many useful ani beautiful presents. The Junior class of the Athena High school motored to Pendleton, Wednesday and attended a court hearing.
