After being closed for many weeks, the Athena schools openedp again Monday morning with a good attend ance, and the studentB seemed pleased to have the opportunity of returning to their studies after their enforced va cation. While the school work for the year as a whole has been bsdly shattered by the epidemic, which enforced closing the schools, in a measure, the work has advanced as well as cdSild be ' ex pected, under a system of correspond ence, inaugurated' shortly after the school closed. If the school is permitted to continue without further interruption until the close of the present semester, it is ex pected that much of the work will be made up.
