Twenty ladies were presont, being conveyed to the farm in relays by Mr. Dodley in bis oar, and a sumptuous dinner was served at noon by tbe hostess and able assistants. At tbe invitation of Mrs. Frank Berlin, the Baptist Missionary Sooiety held their monthly meeting at ber borne west of town yesterday after noon. State Prnit Inspector Campbell is in tbo city, accompanied by a man with a spraying outfit who oomes prepared to spray trees at very moderate charg es. Inspector Campbell says it is ab solutely essential that tbe spraying be done immediately, otherwise trees will be condemned and cnt down ao cording to law.
