Tompkins paid $11 per aore fora

was so badly damaged by fire that it is
beyond the possibility of repair.
Yesterday Cleve Stanton lett for
Arlington, where he will visit bis

wild goose, whose name is reported to

He will be joined on Sunday by George
Thompson, who will take a vacation
after the strenuous labors of putting

Mrs. J. E. Jones has just received
tbe sad intelligence of the death of
her mother, Mrs. MaryJEnnis, at her
home .in Hamilton. Iowa, of acnte
pneumonia. Mrs. Ennis was 56 years
of age. Mr. and Mrs. Jones left Iowa
about 6 years ago, since which time
Mrs. Jones had not seen her mother.
The svmnathy of her friends is ex
tended her in her sudden beieavement.
