The establishment of an annual

as Strawberry Day has been considered

be carried out, says the Eagle.
Tbe plans are as yet only in the pre
liminary stage, but June 4 is tbe day
designated for tbe festival. Briefly
outlined, the plan is to have a big
strawberry picnio at the park, to
wbioh everybody will be invited.
Special invitation to be present will be
extended to leaders in tbe development
movement in tbe state and men engag

as men prominent in publio affairs.

presence ol uovemor namoeriaio,
Presideut Biohardson of toe State De

and Congressman Jones of Washing
