Rev. H. N. Street was blown to atoms by tbe explosion of a stiok of dynamite which was exploded by a blow from his horse's hoof. Will Anderson, of Milton, a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. McLean of this city, is lying dangerously ill at his home in Milton, with diaphragmatic pleurisy, and is not expected to live. He is a son-in-law of Henry Frazier, well known here. f There has been two cases of Ger- u measles in town, one at tbe home ofMinister Hoven aud one at tbe home of Henry Keen. Both cases were con tracted in Walla Walla, during the dedicatory exercises of the Christian Church in that city. Mr. and Mrs. ' Curry, Eyesight spe cialists of Walla Walla who have made regular visits to Athena during the past four years will make their next professional visit Tuesday April 9th for one day only at St. Nichols Hotel.
