Instrument Said to Have Been Ex
ecuted a Little More Than
Iu the matter of the estate of the
late J. W. Young, who died at bis
home in Weston August 25, 1905,
further mystery has beou added by
the discovery of a third purported
will, says the Weston Leador.
This instrument is said to have
been exeouted a little mere than a
year ago, and therefore, if valid, is
Inter than the two other wills now iu
dispute. Nothing definite can be
learned concerning it, as the attorney
of Mabel Young-Warner, declines to
udiuit.even.that it isi u bis possession.
From all that cun be learned, the
duoumont was mailed tc Charles H.
Carter, attorney for Mrs. Warner, by
sonio unknown party at Weston who
wrote an aooompanyiug letter in a
orampled, irregular hand, to the effect
that if Mrs. Warner would come to
Weston she would learii of something
to her advantage. This was about
two weeks ago. Mrs. Warner oarue,
but saw nobody and heard nothing to
enlighten her in the matter. The lettor
writer, who Had signed no name, re
mained iu the background.
Tho names of Frank L. Blair and B,
B. Hall were attached to the docu
meut as witnesses. Mr. Blair went
to Pendleton a tew days ago to exam
iuo his name, but is unabie to say
whether or not it is his true signature.
He remembers signing no will for Mr,
Young. He has a hazy recollection
of being called iito Mr. Young's office
by the old goutlemeau and asked to
sisu some paper or other, but was
told nothing as to its purport and te
gurdod the iuoident as so trivial - that
ho can recall no details concerning it.
Mr. Hall, administrator of the will
probated, declares positively that be
signed uo suoh instrument as the one
so strangely unearthed.
There are now three wills, or allog-
ed wills, iu evidou co. The first one,
exeouted September 3, 1891, is the
will now before the probate court.
The chief beuofloiury is Mrs. F. D.
Watts, wife of Dr. Watts of Coeur
d'Alune, Idaho. The secoud one is
the document which Mrs. Warner
declines was found among her dead
uncle's effects iu a box at the
Farmers' Bank of Weston, and which
Mr. Hull duolares was iuserted iu the
box by Mrs. Warner while bis back
was turned. Iu this dooumeut Mabel
Young-Wurner is givou a substantial
bequest.
Tho nature' of the third and most
mysterious will oauuot be learned. It
is suid to bequeath Mrs. Warner $10,
000, and u few huudred to Mrs.Pioard
ot Walla Walla. Beyond these two
items the Leader can hear uothing
us to its contents. . '
The aftair is involved iu a mystery.
Mr. Blair says that he knows uo more
about it than any other disinterested
person. The siguuture resembles his
niunuor of writing his name, but he
could not swear iu court whether it - is
true or a foigery. D. F. Lavender
was tho trusted agent of Mr. Young
and was well acquainted with his
business affairs, but if he knows any
thing about this, that or tho other
will, he hasn't choseu yet to impart
his knowledge to the public.
Mr. Young died possessed of prop
erty valued at thirty or thirty-flvo
thousand dollar. He was a man of
careful business habits; thut be should
luavo more thuu oae will is regarded
as passiug strange by those who knew
bitu iu life. Mrs. Warner was his
niece aud mado her homo with him
when a girl. "She claims to be his
daughter by ndoptiou. Mrs. Watts
was also his niece aud tho wife of bis
slepsuu, Dr. Watts, the son ot his lit
wife. Theinterosts of those two heirs
aro ohiefly iu coulliot, and Mrs.
Wuruor is active in opposing the will
exeouted in 1891, which loaves her a
veiy nominal sum. Since leaving St.
Joseph's Academy at Pendleton, wnere

she has beeu au actress and singer iu

A Merchant Cured After Having Given Up Hope.
Foley & Co., Chicago. ,
Gentlemen: I was afflicted with Kidney aad
Bladder trouble for six years and had tried numerous
preparations without getting any relief and had given
up hope of ever being cured when FOLEY'S KIDNEY
CURE was recommended to me. After using one
bottle I could feel the effect of it, and after taking
six fifty-cent bottles, I was cured of Kidney and
Bladder trouble and have not felt so well for the past
twenty years and I owe it to FOLEY'S KIDNEY

R. A. Cray, J.P., of Oakville, Ind., writes:
"Most of the time for ten years I was confined to my
bed with some disease of the kidneys. It was so
severe I could not move part of the time. I consulted
the best medical skill available, but got no relief until
FOLEY'S KIDNEY CURE was recommended to me..
. I am grateful to be able to say that It entirely cured me."
