A number of Coquille river dulry- mill liuve, during tlie past few years, been experimenting with alfalfa and dime have been quite successful and plan on growing this excellent forage on a larger scale. The Oregon ex periment stat il n has also been study ing the plant extensively and Prof. IL D. Schtidder has prepared a complete bulletin that Is of great value to the local men Interested, as well as to other dairymen who might want to take it up.
