The sale includes two units, one of 85 million feet ' ofyellow pine and other species on the west side of Klamath Lake, and a second unite of about UOOO million feet of nearly pure yellow pine ocated just east of Crater Lake National Park. The prices on unite are $3.00 per M. for pine and 50 cents per M. for other species; and the prices on unite II are $'i.:J71-2 per M. for pine and 51 cents per M. for other species. Tho removal of the Douglas fir and white fir is optional with tho purchaser. A cutting period of twelve years will be' allowed for the removal of the timber. The tota value of the timber is reduced at $1, 250,000., of which the State of Ore gon wil receive $4:17,5000. as its share for the benefit of schools and mads. The Pelican Bay Lumber Company has been cutting National Forest tim ber for about four years.
