As tho foreman uttered the word "Guilty" the little girl, who was standing nlnno and nervously twisting tho ends of two braids of hair thrown over her shoulders, collapsed and fell forward, unconscious. Earlier lu tho trial sho made a com plete confession of her crime, which was the killing of Julia Jeifex, n play mate, utiie years old, on the afternoon of July 21 last. She told of a trip Into the woods wliich they had taken to get berries and roots for medical purposes and how her lltrtt companion had bothered her from the beginning of their walk. She said that tlnally, after she had warned Julia several times not to plngue her, Julia picked up a prairie chicken as they crossed a field and dellbctTTtely struck her in the face with It.
