A large bunch of Bandonians went
up the river Sunday for a fishing and
bunting trip. Some went to Ran
dolph slough where they caught a
nice supply of trout. Others went on
up to Beaver slough to try for a bunch
of ducks.

Ralph Moore returned last week
from Toledo, Ore., where he had been
since the Moore mill started up in
that city. He expects to remain here
for some time assisting in the busi
ncss at this place.

Mrs. A. J. Hartman returned on
the Elizabeth Christmas morning
from San Francisco. Mrs. Hartman
left recontly and had not intended to
return until Spring, but on account of

Jasper Yoakum has a steer weighing
nearly 3000, pounds out on his ranch
near the county farm, that he is
thinking of exhibiting at the San
Francisco fair next year. That would
certainly be some steer and a mighty
good advertisement for tho kind of
cattle that can be raised in Coos
county.
