T. Bridges of Oakland, Ore., arrived last night for a visit with her daughter, Mrs. S. C. Endicott. Dr. Endicott and family drove over to Marshfield yesterday afternoon in their car to meet her, returning last night. Will J. Montgomery of the Blanco leaves today for Curry county, where ho will enjoy a couple of weeks' out ing. He will join a party at Bandon and if his claims come rtuo, he will have to engage a truck to bring home the venison. Coos Bay Times. J. II. Smith, line man for tho Ban don Power Co., found an Indian skel eton on tho trail going up the hill near tho Tracy place the other day. The skull was in quite a good state of preservation but most of tho other bones were considerably decayed. Walter Morgan, recently from Bandon, was fined in police court to day for fighting in the street. The officers charged him with beating up an old miner who had been drinking too freely and was told to leave the Blanco cafe. The trouble occurred about 2 o'clock this morning. Coos Bany Times.
