E. Boak has his concrete block abutment in front of his residence all completed. E. G. Cassidy did the fin ishing work on the job, which is i very neat one and adds greatly to the appearance of Mr. Boak's property. Practically all of the Bandon hunt ers have returned from the woods, being called in by the closing of the deer season. Some of them had not more than reached their destination when they received word of the gov ernor's order. When a woman winds a towel around her head and calls for a bucket of water t means tho begnning of a big day, but when n man winds n towel around his heaa and calls for water it means the end of a big night. J. A. Byrne is moving his furniture store from tho First National bank building into the Fahy-Morrison building which is being vacated by the Bandon Dry Goods Co. Mrs. A. S. Elliott received word tho other day that her father, John Sargensen, hnd been In an automo bile accident near Wcnatchee, Wash., and was quite seriously hurt. Thoru wero three other men in the auto and ono of them was probably fatally in jured. Mr. Sargensen is quite well known in Bandon, having visited at tho Elliott home several times. Wm. Hite has been down from Co quillo for a few days looking after business in connection with his prop arty here.
