REBEL HAYWOOD IS FAST LOSING POWER. Webster, Mass., April 27. Six teen members of the Webster branch of the Industrial Workers of the World at a meeting quit because of the recent speech by William D. Hay wood predicting a general strike in case of war. All are Polish, but swore allegiance to the United States and offered to go to Mexico as volun teers of needed. INJUNCTION AGAINST ORE GON AVE. IMPROVEMENT. Attorney G. T. Treadgold has se cured an injunction in the Oregon Avenue case, restraining the city from doing any further work oh the street until after the case is tried, May 12th. REVIVAL NOTES. Evangelist Thomas had the largest hearing Sunday night that he has had and his sermon on "The Auction of- a Soul" was very impressive indeed. Tho interest on the part of those who have been attending is well sus tained and many who have been full of criticism of tho methods used are beginning to realize that tho heart of tho evangelist is in the right place and that some surgery was nocded. The meetings here arc attracting attention at the county-seat, and a bont has been chartered for Friday evening so that a number of the Christian people of the plnce may como down. It is the plan to meet them at tho wharf, and the hour of the nrrival will be announced at one of tho meetings. Attention is called to the meetings held ench afternoon at 2:30.
