Editor Recorder: For over t n years I have had in my pemrssion a lar e photograph of the Sphinx Rock and have seen hundreds of of others; but until I obtained one of Photographer Hill's, which seem ed to be one ot the ordinary run of pictures in distinctness, I had never made this discovery; and then I did it only through the simplest acci dent while applying a solution of water color upon it that seemed to bring out all the outlines of the face in clear and distinct form. Right tht.e where I had often thought there ought to be an eye, appeared that very window of the soul, and while I thought it might be made by a freak mistake of my brush, on examination I found pthers to rev.il the srtme. Then and there, I decided this seemingly unheard of nature marvel was not only the Sphinx of Bandon but the world's greatest natural wonder. This, I decided in like manner This Sphinx is the complete ex pression of exquisite feminine beauty and while it is not in a desert but the most picturesque seaside spot on the coast, it wiil have many reasons for being popular, The titrie is not hr distant when the Sphinx of Bandon, like the Sphinx of Egypt, will be the attrac tion of the sightseeing worid; for while we have seemed to be isolated from the outside world yet is there a world famed future in store for us that cannot be denied by any clear thinking individual.
