The Mask Ball by Sons of Veter
ans for the benefit of the G. A. R.
Post, will be given at Bank Hall
Christmas Eve. The usual prizes
will be awarded. All old comrades
and wives are cordially invited to
attend, complimentry and enjoy
themselves. One corner ol the hall
will be fittingly decorated and equip
ped for a rest place for them.
L, E. Brown and family were
over Sunday guests of friends at
Myrtle Point. Mr, Brown says he
saw the burglar's hole at the Myrtle
Point Bank which wa robbed and
it was undoubtedly the work of
someone who understood th; busi
ness. He also says that everything
yet is a mystery to the stock holders,
and that the loss will go very hard
with some of them.
