The Barrel in Teenie Weenie Land
Here is the unique summer home presented hy admirers o f the Teenie
Weenies to Mary Dickerson Donahey. w ife o f William Donahey, creator o f
the Teenie Weenies. So far aa known, this Is the largest picket barrel ever
constructed. It Is IS feet high, with a capacity o f 21.000 gallons. There Is
a living room downstairs, with sleeping room upstairs. The barrel In the
rear la made Into a kitchen. The small room la 9 feet In diameter, while
the living room 1* 12 feet. "T h e Barrel’' Is located on Grand Sable lake, near
Grand Marais. Mich. School children from Grand Marais, dressed in Teenie
Weenie costume«, conducted the presentation ceremonies.
