the juice of Maraschino cherries.
Put half a canned peach, cut side
up, on each piece of cake, and fill
cavities with halved Maraschino
cherries. Make a meringue, using
three tablespoons confectioner’s
«nirir to each egg white, and pile
thickly over the peaches. Bake in
a very slow oven until the meringue
