tion, it found the b it structuri .
essentially five halls in one, each
unit being separated from the oth
ers by solid fire walls. Such plan5
had been made both to afford pro­
tection and facilitate social organ-
,-ation among the 340 students the
¡building will accommodate.
Five names were consequently
elected instead of one, honoring
ve men who have been or are
roinlnently connected with the
story of the in s titu tio n .

the central tow er hall which rises
120 feet in five stories above the
ground, m aking it the highest
structure now on the campus. It

southeast is named for Dr. Daniel
V Poling, secretary of the campus
