They have n o t i c e d what was miss­ /ft ing. what w a s /ft wanted. Eyes which see doll's carriages, train s of cars, dolls, mechanical toys, /ft books. Eyes which look deeply into the windows of shops. Perhaps those /ft more financially fortunate will lead them Into shops and let them realize /ft some of th eir dreams. There are the charity children, chib /ft dr en who receive dinners given by charitable organizations, being photo­ /ft graphed so th at those who are Inde­ pendent may feel undisturbed by all th at they possess. Children whose pictures reveal a t times a little sham e a little shyness th at they must be photographed when eating a regular meal. And yet they know the meaning of Christmas, too. This, for them.
