He oftvrs a specially good propo
sition. $2.50 for the term and
**ach pupil furnish his own book
which will cost 80c.
Besides this he expects to give
two concerts during the winter,
the net proceeds to go to the
church or churches where the
class is held.
The time will be on Friday
nights, alternating between the
two churches, provided the Meth
odist church is willing, otherwise
it will be held in the Christian
church.
There will be as many lessons
as there are pupils up to fortv.
At present there are about tw en
ty two who have promised to
take the lessons. That will
•mean twenty-two lessons.
If
there are more pupils there will
be more lessons.
We would like for those who
are intending to take the lessons
to drop into the office and order
their book as we want to send
for them next Wednesday. The
c ass will begin the next Friday-
after the books arrive.
Attend this singing school and
learn to read music a t sight, and
incidentally have a jolly good
time. Increase the class to for
ty pupils if possible.

The very splendid attendance
of last Sunday was most inspir
ing to all and leads us to hope
for an even larger audience next
Sunday evening. Brother Phil
lips’ sermon on Fatal Foolish
ness was a strong appeal for p re -1
paredness on the part of all in j
view of the certain return of
Christ when least expected.

still, bring them to the services, j
All may be assured of a helpful j
and enjoyable time.
With the first Sunday in Octo
ber there begins in the Bible
school a six m onths’ series of
lessons from the ministry of J e
sus. If you wish to improve
your knowledge of the greatest
of lives you should not miss one
Sunday session. Everyone needs
to know "More about Jesu s”
and this course will afford an
easy opportunity.
The Christian Endeavor topic
will be "Inspiring stories from
