1 tablespoons shortening
* tablespoons milk
2 cups flour
I teaspoons Royal Bakin*
Powder
Beat eggs until very light; add
sugar, salt, nutmeg and melted
shortening; add milk, and flour
snd baking powder which have
been sifted together; inis well.
Prop by teaspoons into deep
hot tat and fry until brown.
Drain well on unglaaed paper
and sprinkle lightly with pow.
