The reports given at the last meeting indicate a good convention in spite of the heat. The Auxiliary is starting a nurs­ ery for the membe'rs’ children so more parents can attend the meet­ ing. The members will take turns upervising it. Next meeting will be a social night and watermelon ‘feed.’ ------------- o------------- A special meeting in the morning and an all afternoon picnic are slated for the Eagles and their families this Sunday, August 17. All members are requested to meet at the Eagles hall in Kerby at 10 a. m. for a District meeting and initiation, Visiting Eagles from Medford, Grants Pass, Cres- cent City and Brookings will be present. The annual Eagles picnic will start at noon Sunday at Grayback camp for all members, their fam­ ilies, and prospective members. E. V.
