It was up to the students in high school to be on their best behavioi and set a good example for them. Roberta Bryant Gilbert Wright Wins Athletic Trophy I Gilbert Wright, Ivy Senior, ha- been awarded the Sportsmanship Trophy. This being sponsored by he Glenn Morrison Post No. 70, of the American Legion. Any student was eligible to re- cieve the trophy, which was award ed to the student attaining the best ill around sportsmanship during the past year. This is to be an annual award. If a Freshms’n, Sophomore, or Junior recieves the trophy, he or she must leave the trophy in the show case until he or she graduates. The rea son for this ruling is that if a stu- ilent accepts a trophy during his ot her high school years, they are not eligible to |>articipate in any intra school sports.
