Mr. Kothe’s sister and her hus­
band, Mr. and Mrs. Murphy from
G iants Pass, have gone to W y­
oming to be with Mr. M urphy's
father who is seriously ill.
Raymond Wiswell w rites home
that he has been tran sferred to
the Triplet- G eneral Hospital in
Pearl H arbor.
He was on the
"M agpie” and was tra n sfe rre d to
the “ N atchang” shortly before
the "M agpie” was sunk. “ Lucky j
break” he says. He hopes to spend
the rest of his enlistm ent on the I
Islands but is going to try t o '
come home for the holidays.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rainey
have gone to C alifornia to spend ,
the holidays with relatives and I
friends.
