Robinson Funeral Held
Men With Dependents May
Funeral services were held De­
cember 16, 1950 fo r Roscoe A l­
bert Robinson who passed away
at his residence December 13,
1950.
He was born December
18, 1909 in H ardy, Iowa. He was
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd
Robinson.
He leaves a widow
Mary E. Robinson; two sons, Rob­
ert William and Thomas V irgil;
two daughters. Rose Anne, and
Betty A nne; one brother, V ir­
gil Robinson, and an uncle, George
W heeler, Astoria, Oregon.,
are in Los Angeles..
Now Enlist in Navy
The Navy announced today that
it has modified existing enlistm ent
regulations so that candidates with
one dependent may enlist in pay
grades E-l tnd E-2 (seam an re ­
c ru it and seaman ap p ren tice). Can­
didates with two or more depend­
ents may enlist in pay grade E-3
(seam an).
Old requirem ents forbade e n ­
listm ents in grades below petty
officer if the candidate had any
dependents.

H enry Brazille, 77, of Selma
died W ednesday, Dec. 13, at J o ­
sephine G eneral hospital. He was
born in Siskiyou county, Calif.,
March 14, 1873. He had been a
resident of Selma since 1905.
The deceased is survived by a
son, Guy B., of Q tve Junction, and
a nephew, John B. Brazille of
Hugo.
Graveside services were held at
Deer Creek cem etery a t 10 a. m.
Monday, Dec. 18, with Rev. Doug­
las Gield of Selma officiating.

Junction was in charge of a r ­
