WHAT’S IN A NAME?
A rose would smell just sweet if called skunkcab-
bage. Cave Junction will function just the same if
called Cave City, Timbucktoo, or any other name. It
would still be the business center of the Illinois Valiev
regardless.
The only question we are bringing up i,s—Is it ad

I,s it advisable to change the name of the town s

CAN’T n o IT HERE
This community is going to be run by the people
ot t he city, and they are able to run their own affairs,
and they propose to do it, said Mayor Hussey this
ueek when an illegal picketing in front of the Owl
Tavern wa,s tried.
The mayor made it clear that law and order will
be enforced, and the citizens of the city would be pro
tected at all costs. 1 here is no labor disputes with
any employes in the city that we know of, and high
