Sunday School attendance was
179 last Sunday. The sanctuary
was full to overflow ing for the
m orning v- >rship service. Mrs.
S herier’s class did the decorating.
The central theme was a tall w hite
cross, a t the base of which were
ferns and w hite daffodils. Many
boquets of daffodils w’ere grouped
around the rostrum .
Rev. G ray’s lesson was from
Romans, 6th ch apter and tex t
taken from Cor. 1, 15th chapter,
verses 20, 21, 22.
Mrs. H arold Mock sang “ The
Lord Is My Shepherd,” Mrs. R ay
mond Proctor, accom panist. The
Ju n io r choir sang “ C hrist The

has entered the V eteran’s hospital
in P ortland for treatm en t . i a
tropical skin irritatio n on his
hands, which prevents his follow
ing the barbers trade. His case
is being followed by the Glenn
Morrison Post in order that every
possible assistance can be e x - :
tended.
The Legion will take care of
accepting and placing the head
stone on the grave of a veteran
who recently passed away at Hol
land. His widow found it neces
sary to make her home in Southern
California. This service will glad
ly be extended in any sim ilar case.
The erection of that flag-pole
a t the Legion hall th at has been
scheduled for so m any months may
become an actuality one of these
days. Maurice Sauer has deliver
ed the steel rail needed for the
base. Blake Miller hopes to pro
ceed with the balance of the work
in the near fu tu re.
Senator Guy Cordon has fu r
nished a copy of the revised V et
eran's Pension bill to the Post. It
has been posted on the bulletin
board, and interested veterans are
asked to be guests of the Post on
