Attendance for the 10 o’clock service at Commnuity church was good last Sunday, although a num ber of the regular pupils were ab sent for the Fourth of July cele bration. After the usual opening exercis es and singing, the Sunday school hour was taken over by the Bible school for a short program fol lowed by a work exhibit, after which the children were given their handiwork to take home with them. The Bible school enrollment was 43, and the average daily attend ance 31. Mrs. Rubie Nicholson wishes to take this means to thank all those who helped to make our Bible school possible, teachers, assist ants, parents, children, those who helped financially, and all those who were behind us with their prayers. In the worship service. Rev. Gray took for his scripture read ing, I John 3:1-8, 2:15-17, using for his text I John 3:3.
