came to the valley last week and
startiki last Monday with Henry
Webb, brother of George for Sac

going to take a few days off.
As they started to turn the cor

ranch hotel site, George Webb’s
car skidded and went off the grade,
and turned over a couple of times.
Mr. and Mrs. George Webb re
ceived slight injuries, but Henry-
had some ribs cracked ar.nl a ver
tebrae knocked out of place. They
were taken to the hospital in
Grants Pass.
Henry's condition was at first
reported as very serious, but as
time went on, his injuries will be
quickly healed. The vertebrae is
the most serious injury he has. The
ribs will heal and be as good as

School Improvement
Club Held Meeting
The regular meeting day of the
Holland School Improvement club,
found only a few present due to ill
ness of several members. However
those attending enjoyed an after
noon of social talk after the busi
ness meeting was over. The club
was well pleased and very grate
ful to those who attended the
dance they sponsored earlier this
month. The money received will
be used to help the youngsters next
year.
A delicious luncheon was served
by the hostesses for the month,
Mrs. Isobel Mellow and Mrs Wilda
Maurer.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Nicholson
left this week for Nebraska where
they will be for a couple weeks
visit.

we have enjoyed many a loaf of
