chase of meats, fats, oils, butter
and cheese, and by Oct. 2 the

main unchanged.

pire Oct. 2. Stamp “C" will be
effective Sept. 27, “D” on Oct.
23. “E" on Oct. 10 and “F” on
Oct. 17. Those for expire Oct. 30.
Meanwhile red stamps “X”, “Y”
and “Z" become valid Aug. 22.

and all will expire Oct. 2.
In announcing the new regula-
tions, the office of price aminis-

sets will become valid on the fol
lowing Sundays.
Blue stamps “U, ” “V” and “W”
from Ration Book 2 will become
valid Sept. 1 and expire Oct. 20.
In another phase of the ration-

I and told automobile owners to

<
pon, for the new type sheets i be-
tween Aug. 23 and Sept. 1.
The rationing board is now
mailing fuel oil applications to
home owners, who may fill them
out and return them by mail, thus
saving a trip to the OPA office
here. George Riddle of the OPA
office said.
Most small home owners will get
from 1 to 20 per cent more fuel
oil this year than last, and some
large home owners w ill benefit un
der a plan whereby maximum floor
area allowance pel person is raised.
