Hamilton were visiting friends in Grant- Pass Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. John Harris re turned Sunday evening from sev eral days spent in Portland. o- - Otis Schmitt of Medford, i spending his vacation at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ebb Hogue in Selma. Mrs. Ebb Hogue and brother, Otis Schmitt of Selma, were visit ors in Cave junction the first of the week. The champion cougar hunter of the county drove through Cave Junction yesterday with a nice buck tied to the fenders of his car and the body was still warm, he having just shot the buck a few minutes before coming through town. Last Monday Doney killed a large cougar on Reeves creek, This makes six cougars he has killed since the 1st of January, and they were all large ones.
