Our attention has been called to Senate bill No.
780, to appropriate approximately a million and a
half dollars to bu;ld roads to strategic minerals need
ed in the national defense plan.
Citizens in this district are urged to write to the
Oregon delegation in Congress and ask them to give
their support to this legislation There are several
roads needed in this section to mines that would pro
duce if there was a chance to get the minerals out.
The Forest Service is expected to cooperate in this
matter and will designate the roads that are needed.
Write your congressmen and senators asking for
their support on Senate hill No. 780.

Weather Mi n seems disposed to be a little more rea
sonable, why not let’s get hot and bothered about let-
t ng the world know what a wonderful year we are
go tV to have in the Ulino s Valley. If you don’t all
ready Know it. we are going to have the best year in
tiie history of the valley. Tell everyone from the out
side what a great year we are going to have. They
are interested i.nd should know it. the more we talk
about it. the bigger it will be.
