The Bible Study Group with
Mrs. William A. Brown av teacher,
met on Wednesday afternoon at
the lovely home of Mrt. L. W.
Monroe, on Happy Camp Road,
where an enthusiastic group of
ladies made a study of the Parables
of Jesus, the one of the Talents
being given especial emphasis,
There were also a number of new
Bible quizzes and games pre-
sented which showed the increased
knowledge of those wlm are doing
the work assigned.
The meeting for next Wednes
day, the 19th, will be at the home
of Mrs. Cross. Anyone who is
truly interested in acquiring a bet
ter knowledge of the Word, will
be given a welcome.

Peggy Hogue, Carmelita Krauss
and Louise Hammer, left on a two
weeks trip to 4-H summer school
being conducted at Corvallis. Miss
Mildred Norman left for Salem to
attend the state grange but will
