BOY SCOUT TROOP HAS 14 MEMBERS No organization can mean more to a community that a Boy Scout troop, for the boys of today are the men of tomorrow. The Illinois Valley has a Scout troop of 14 members that is far abwe the average in achieve­ ment Under the able leadership of Ralph Huber. Scoutmaster, and Earl Grey, assistant, enthusiasm never wanes. The troop, which is sponsored by the local American Legion post, meets in the Legion Hall on Monday even­ ings. Fraternizing with neighboring troops has promoted a friendly rival­ ry that keeps every member on his toes. On a recent visit to the Jer­ ome Prairie troop, the local boys won the rotating trophy in a spirited com­ petition.
