TEXACO SERVICE STATION AND GARAGE

PARADE I
Dodge - Plymouth
George Hicks and his brother, Murphy, came to the valley about two
years ago and George purchased the Texaco Service Station and Garage from
Bob Rout. Both brothers have had years of experience in garage and service
station work, and immediately became favorites among the automobile own
ers in the valley. “Murphy” has charge of the garage part and George
operates the service station. “Murphy,” besides being a good automobile
mechanic, is a first class macinest and knows his stuff, but in this location
he is only applying himself to garage work. George Hicks was formerly em
ployed by an oil company in Honolulu and came here because he believed in
the future of this setion, and he loves the country. Both brothers are married.
