MEETING “PROSPERITY”
Our campaign aimed to show how “Prosperity’ can be brought to
all of us is causing considerable thought among some of our readers
who have started their scrap book and are going to follow through.
There has been many queries concerning the book, “T. N. T.—It
Rocks the Earth," by Claude M. Bristol, the theme of which opened
our eyes to the great power existing in every man and woman. In
view of the fact that no distributor in Southern Oregon carries this
book* we have made arrangements with the publishers to get a limited
supply of this result getting book which may be obtained for one dol
lar. The book will make your study of this interesting theme much
clearer, and we positively know anyone who follows through with
this theme, gets what they want.
The secret of “Prosperity” is doing’ it over and
over again. Doing the same thing so many times it
becomes second nature to do them. You get the habit
and can’t stop. When you get into this position with
your thoughts, creative thoughts, constructive
thoughts, you’re getting some place.
Those who become proficient at anv task have
practiced until they are experts at it. Those who do
things well, have made a study of what they are do
ing and continual practice puts them at the top of the
ladder because they have given the job thought and
the necessary application to make the grade.
That is all this theme amounts to—Application!
Application of thought. When the thought is strong
enough, the urge is there to back it up and both to
gether spells “Prosperity.”
It is not hard work to think. There is no manual
labor attached to it. You merely use your think tank
until it registers—When this happens, you have met
“Prosperity,” for those who apply themselves and
stick to it, win the battle.
If you haven’t been serious about this before—why
nqt start in now and be successful, but more than
anything else, be happy ? You can if you will. Start
in today with the thought that I am going to get
ahead. Make up your mind on what you want and
then concentrate constantly upon this object. Keep
thinking about it day and night. Believe that you will
receive it and when your belief is strong enough, the
miracle happens and you arrive at your destination.
----------------- o-----------------
A SYMPHONY OF THOUGHT
Whenever a city as a whole becomes inoculated
with one thought, one purpose, and constantly strives
for that thing—There is nothing on earth can stop
that city from attaining its objective. This thought
is right along the line of the above article on “Pros
perity.”
Thriving little cities thrive because the men in
them all think along the same line — Success. Of
course, business is good because they think that way.
And when mass thinking is focused on good business,
that’s exactly what will happen — business will be
good.
Cave .Junction is in need of a little mass thinking.
It is in need of thoughts of cooperation. It is in need
of a little more belief in the Golden Rule. These are
the first requisite» to good business. If cooperation
and a willingness to help each other is not there—
How can we expect business to I m * good?
It is high time for the business men of Cave Junc
tion to do a little thinking on their own account. If
we would all get together and begin thinking along
constructive lines—“you scratch my back and 1’11
scratch yours," the city of Cave Junction would rise
up like a mushroom over night and become one of the
most important cities on the Redwood highway. It
has all the ear marks—It has all the advantages—But
until we can get the brotherly spirit of helping each
other, we will continue to struggle along and do the
best we can under the circumstances. The pitiful
part is, we are not only hurting ourselves with our
negative thinking, but the entire valley is handi
capped for the lack of a symphony of thought.
