Last Sunday the Cave Junction
baseball team journeyed to Gas
quet, California, to play ball. This
was the second game the boys from
Cave Junction had played and it
was taken for granted that the
boys from Gasquet, who have been
in harness for some time would
be on the heavy side of the score.
The Cave Junction team worked
hard and did the best they could
but that "murderers row" of Gas
quet was too much for them How

and expect to even up the percent
age column.
The boys are practicing and the
game will be played on the home fl
grounds at Cave Junction and if a
good crowd of local rooters turn
out and yell for their team there
is no reason why Cave Junction fl
should not win.
The Cave Junction team wishes
to thank the merchants for their
support in helping purchase equip
ment and balls and assure them
that they will do their best to put
the Cave Junction baseball team
on the map.

The Chamber of Commerce is the Clear
ing house for Josephine County. Why not get
the habit, and “Ask the Chamber” any ques
tion that bothers you. Your Chamber of Com
merce has information about your county and
State; your laws, taxes, and government. It
has an up to date file of City Directories, and
telephone books. It can supply tourist infor
mation.

Nine times out of ten the Chamber of
Commerce can either answer your question,
get the answer for you, or tell vou where to
