G. A. Peterson, superintendent, has Just finished installing one of the fin est sprinkling systems to be found and it is working perfectly. Mr. Peterson says that the sys tem is putting two inches of water on one and one-eighth acres per hour. The pipe is 660 feet long and covers a space 50 feet wide when sprinkling. They are using a six inch por table Sterling pump and a four cylinder motor to drive it, taking water from the Illinois river.
